Terms & Conditions

As a member of Oulton Park Cricket Club (hereafter referred to as "the Club"), you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

1. Membership Obligations

  • Members are expected to uphold the values and spirit of cricket, showing respect to fellow members, opponents, officials, and the wider community.
  • Membership fees must be paid promptly as per the Club’s payment schedule.
  • Members must comply with all Club rules, codes of conduct, and safeguarding policies, which are available upon request or via the Club’s website.

2. Use of Facilities and Equipment

  • Members are entitled to use Club facilities and equipment in line with the Club’s policies and must treat them with respect and care.
  • Any damage caused to Club property through negligence or misuse may result in the member being held responsible for repair or replacement costs.

3. Health and Safety

  • Members must follow all health and safety guidelines provided by the Club during matches, training, and other events.
  • It is the responsibility of members to inform the Club of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect their participation in activities.

4. Consent for Image Use

  • By becoming a member of the Club, you will be asked to consent to the use of your image and likeness in photographs, videos, and other media taken during Club events, matches, or training sessions.
  • These images may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
    •    The Club’s website
    •    Social media platforms
    •    Marketing materials such as newsletters, posters, or event programs
  • Formal consent will be requested at point of membership registration, adhering to the UK’s GDPR regulations. If, after this time you do not wish for your image to be used for these purposes, you must notify the Club in writing by contacting the Membership Secretary (members.opcc@gmail.com).

5. Data Protection

  • The Club will collect, process, and store your personal data in line with relevant GDPR regulations.
  • Personal information will only be used for Club-related activities, including communication about fixtures, events, and membership matters.
  • Members have the right to access their personal data held by the Club and can request corrections or removal by contacting the Club’s Chairman.

6. Disciplinary Procedures

  • The Club reserves the right to take disciplinary action against members who breach these terms and conditions, including suspension or termination of membership.
  • If disciplinary action is deemed necessary, the Club’s Disciplinary Procedure will be followed, which can be found on the Club’s website.

7. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • The Club reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Significant changes will be discussed and voted on at the Club’s AGM or an EGM will be called. Members will be notified of any significant changes via email or public notice.

By completing the membership registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
